Founded by the Rais family in the 1950s, La Casa del Grano began as an artisan workshop in Via Pola before evolving into a modern pasta factory in Cagliari Elmas. Graziella Rais continued the family legacy, enhancing machinery to produce pasta with the quality of handmade methods while ensuring industrial standards. Under her leadership, the company expanded its range to include whole-wheat versions of traditional Sardinian pasta and popular Italian shapes, meeting the growing demand from health-conscious consumers.
Use: Pastina, meaning "small pasta," comes in various tiny shapes and is traditionally used in soups and broths. It's perfect in minestrone, chicken soup, or simply tossed with butter for a comforting, classic dish.
